Ladies and gentlemen,
I would like to address you, as General Manager of Mistral Bonsai, in order to present the most relevant results obtained
during 2007, as well as the main strategies which will guide our performance during the coming years.
Nowadays, when the business world is defined by the internationalisation of markets and by the increasing pressure of
competition, the important position of Mistral Bonsai, in Spain as well as in the international area, and its significant
growth potential are necessary fundamental features for attaining the position the company deserves. It is, therefore, an
honour for me to direct this company and to be able to continue on the path to success and quality which, as you know, are
its most outstanding features.
Mistral Bonsai is the most consolidated company in this sector at world level, with a presence in more than eight countries,
mainly European, where it has strengthened its position. Proof of this is the notable increase in the number of clients,
already over 7,000.
To continue with other matters, the research project carried out by the R+D (Research and Development) department at Mistral
Bonsai, and which has resulted in the launching of a new product based on mycorrhizas, innovator and respectful of the
environment, with excellent properties. This project is endorsed by the C.D.T.I. (Centre for Technological and Industrial
Development) and by the Ministry of Science and Education.
Along these same lines it gives me pleasure to be able to affirm that Mistral Bonsai has been implanting a series of actions
directed towards collaborating in the conservation of the environment, such as the construction of a reservoir for collecting
rainwater which has a capacity of 5,800,000 litres, the energy efficiency plan, the plan for the management of general waste,
participating in the recycling and collecting systems of specific waste products, etc...
During this period, the perspective of the mission and also of the values of the company has adapted to the new position
and to the essence of what Mistral Bonsai represents, with regard to its market sector as well as to society.
I would like to make special reference to the effort and willingness of all the people who make up Mistral Bonsai.
Their daily dedication and commitment allow the business project of this company to become a motivating reality.
Finally, I would especially like to thank our clients for the trust and support they have always given us. Their
encouragement has allowed us to successfully continue, consolidating the growth and projections of our company as well as
achieving our aims regarding service, profitability and continuance which strengthen the position of Mistral Bonsai as one
of the most prestigiously recognized companies in the bonsai sector.
