HIRYO GOLD. Traditional Japanese fertilisers for bonsai.

Mistral Bonsai presents the new range of Hiryo Gold Fertilisers. Developed following traditional Japanese standards, it is a complete range of fertilisers that allows you to cover all the needs of your bonsai.

Hiryo Gold fertilisers are technologically advanced fertilisers of the highest quality. They come from completely natural materials, matured for a long time and with beneficial bacteria that maximise their qualities.

These latest generation fertilisers prevent the degradation of the substrate, while increasing the number of beneficial microorganisms in the soil, thus protecting the trees from numerous diseases. Due to their great richness, the doses that are applied are moderate and they dissolve without blocking the pores of the substrate or leaving residues, thus maintaining excellent soil drainage.

Their granules break down in a short time, even in dry climates, which makes them highly efficient even in dry seasons, in which the other fertilisers do not act.

Their small, irregularly shaped granules are specially designed so that they can be applied easily on the ground, without displacing the water pressure when watering them, thus making a basal dressing fertiliser, easy, pleasant and completely safe. The Hiryo gold fertiliser range consists of four types of fertiliser, adapted to the needs of our trees:

 

HIRYO GOLD CONIFERS.

Hiryo Gold Conifers is especially designed to facilitate the cultivation of conifers, such as pines, junipers, yews, Chamaecyparis, cryptomerias, etc.

Magnesium in conifers makes them more resistant to all kinds of diseases, especially the well-known "desiccation of conifers". Chlorophyll is the base that allows glucose to be synthesised from the sun's energy. In the centre of the ring that forms the chlorophyll molecules we find the magnesium molecule. That is why the contribution of magnesium in the fertiliser is so effective, since it rapidly increases the formation of chlorophyll.

Although this fertiliser is especially designed to strengthen conifers, it can also be used with excellent results in all species of bonsai.

This fertiliser, due to its adequate balance of organic nutrients, allows a sustained growth of bonsai whilst it simultaneously improves the structure of the soil, regenerating organic processes.

HIRYO GOLD GROWTH AND PRE-BONSAI.

Hiryo Gold Growth and pre-bonsai guarantees a balanced and robust growth of our bonsai, making it the most suitable fertiliser for trees in formation, especially pre-bonsai.

Thanks to its balanced formulation, it avoids the uncontrolled growth of the internodes, which allows the formation of a fine and balanced branching.

It is a very safe fertiliser, which does not involve risks for our trees, which allows us to regulate their growth with total confidence.

HIRYO GOLD FLOWERS AND FRUITS.

The formation of flowers and fruits causes great wear on the trees, which must be compensated with the contribution of phosphorus and potassium.

Hiryo Gold flowers and fruits is conceived to be able to supply these elements adequately to all kinds of fruit trees.

Due to its organic origin, one of the most notable effects of this fertiliser is the increased resistance to stress of bonsai, especially frequent in fruit trees that consume a large amount of water in the season in which they develop their fruits.

Hiryo Gold maintains the spongy structure of the soil, which improves water retention and greatly increases the number of fine roots of the bonsai. It favours the development of beneficial soil microorganisms, essential for tree roots to absorb nutrient salts.

The large amount of humic acids that this fertiliser gives off makes it very suitable for growing acidophilic species, such as azaleas, gardenias or camellias.

Naturally, it can also be used in any other species of bonsai, since, by increasing the vigour of the trees, it provides them with great resistance against pests and diseases.

HIRYO GOLD MAINTENANCE.

Hiryo Gold maintenance is especially designed to maintain the vigour of our bonsai, while reinforcing their defences, which makes them more resistant to all kinds of pests and diseases.

Due to its high iron content, this fertiliser is especially suitable in areas where the water is calcareous. This fertiliser controls chlorosis due to excess lime carbonates in the water, thus regenerating the chlorophyll function, which translates into a substantial improvement in the vigour of the trees.

Iron salts are easily lost with the frequent watering that our bonsai require due to the fact they are very soluble. Therefore, although we have good quality water, the periodic contribution of this element is especially necessary in the cultivation of our bonsai, achieving a progressive greening of the leaves with long-lasting and sustained effects.

Furthermore, the balance of nutrients of organic origin in this fertiliser guarantees a sustained growth of our bonsai, increasing their resistance to all kinds of diseases.
