Location: Place outdoors, preferably in full sun to encourage flowering and fruiting. In very hot summers, partial shade during the hottest hours is recommended. In colder European regions, protect from severe and prolonged frost.
Watering: Keep the substrate slightly moist, increasing watering in summer and reducing it in winter. Avoid waterlogging and do not wet the flowers during blooming.
Curiosities: Pyracantha is commonly known as “firethorn” because of the intense color of its fruits in autumn and winter, resembling small flames covering the tree.
