Spring to autumn with Hiryo Gold organo-mineral fertiliser or fast-acting fertiliser such as Nutribonsai.

Every 2 years in spring or summer. Afterwards, it is recommended to water with Mistral Bonsai's Vitabonsai invigorator to speed up the tree's recovery.
Soil
Terrabonsai. Special soil for bonsai, which will satisfy its water and nutrient needs, stimulating the development of roots and general vigour. Other soils can also be used, such as a mixture of 70% Akadama + 30% Kiryuzuna, which promotes growth, although it will require more frequent watering.
Pruning
In spring.
Pinching
Cutting at 2 leaves, when the shoot has 4 to 6 leaves. All Ficus trees secrete latex in the cuts, as a healing agent. It is neither necessary nor practical to use sealing paste for the cuts.
