Citrus kinzu. Bonsai 7 years. Hong Kong kumquat or Kinzu. Outdoor bonsai, typical from the Mediterranean. Very appreciated for its flowers and fruits. It needs both sun and cold to produce fruit.

Location: It can adapt to all climates but prefers a sunny location all year round. In summer, it should be protected from the extreme midday sun. It resists frost, but it is better to protect it from temperatures below -2ºC.

Watering: Abundant in summer, moderate in winter. Take care not to wet the flowers.

Curiosities: Its flowers are very aromatic at sunset, when the pollination insects are active, which is a good example of symbiosis.
